Lingro.com- Find and article or any text on line. Go to lingro.com and paste the website into the appropriate box. This now makes it so that ANY text you click on- a definition pops up. The words you clicked on are saved and now you can make flashcards or play games with the new vocabulary!
Download stories/ poems to iTunes. Then print the script as well! Great to work on auditory skills as well as read some poems/ stories. They are sorted by grade level. In iTunes, go to the iTunes Store. Search for Lit2Go: Audio files for K-12. To Print or read the script on line: Lit2Go on the Web

It has specific sections for the following: KIDS- includes three interactive games to teach about noise; PARENTS-includes noise thermometer, 3 simple steps to protect your child's hearing;
EDUCATORS-includes steps educators can take to help prevent hearing loss in their students.

people have cut tennis balls to muffle the sound of scraping chairs and desks.
