CAEDHH-BC is collecting information regarding contracts that you have with the Provincial Resource Program - Cochlear Implants (PRP-CI).

Could you please take a few minutes and answer these questions

• Do you have students with Coclear Implants in your School District?
• Do you have a contract for habilitation with the PRP-CI?
• How is this arrangement going for you?

Thank you for your input.

Itinerant Conference
Just a reminder to everyone that will be attending the Itinerant Conference on Friday, if you could bring any resources that you can't do without in high school. Make sure to label them, so we don't get things mixed up.

Thank you, look forward to seeing you on Friday

FYI for parents of children with hearing loss or deafness:

Gallaudet is doing a study to understand the genes which cause deafness. They are particularly looking for children who passed their Newborn Hearing Screening but were later found to have hearing loss and/or documented Connexin 26 hearing loss. However, I think they’ll consider any child with non-syndromic hearing loss/deafness. (Hearing loss/deafness not associated with any syndromes – like Ushers.)

There is no cost to you to participate in this study. Test results take about 6 months.
